heart for the house

We Are called to be radically generous

VISION

Every year in the life of our church, November has been marked with radical generosity as we bring our best offering, over & above our tithe, as a reflection of our heart to build God’s House. We have moved from a tent seating 30 people, leasing a high school seating 150 people, leasing an elementary school seating 200 people,

leasing an old CVS seating 400 people, to purchasing our first permanent 11-acre facility. Every year, we have stretched & given to make more room for people to experience the God who can change their lives. Just this year, between two experiences we are on average seating 800 people & we have seen over 1100 people start a relationship with Jesus. Over the next 13 months, we’re prayerfully asking our church family to collectively give $3 million dollars to raise the roof of our new facility & build a 1500 seat auditorium. We all have an incredible opportunity to play a part in building God a beautiful house in the city of Richmond, that will impact eternity for generations to come.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The tithe, or “first fruits,” of our labor/income belong to God. We find this principle all through God’s Word. Tithing, giving God the first 10% of our income to the local church, is the primary practical way we acknowledge that God is first (Proverbs 3:9-10 & Malachi 3:10). An offering is giving over and above the tithe. The Bible says that by giving generously, we are able to “take hold of the life that is truly life” (1 Timothy 6:18-19).

You can email accounting@theheightschurch.com and based on how you would like to give, we will give you our investment or bank account information.

Pushpay has a gift limit of 20K. If you desire to give more than 20K in one transaction, we prefer that you would give via wire transfer, or check. To give via wire transfer, email accounting@theheightschurch.com and we can share our bank account information.

The most cost-effective method of giving is through cash, check, or wire transfer. These methods have the lowest processing costs which allows us to utilize every dollar to further the Kingdom of God.

You can download your giving statement anytime through your Community Church Builder profile, which you can log in to by going to https://theheightschurch.ccbchurch.com/ . Once you are logged into your account, scroll down to the financial section, hover over the three dots, choose giving statement, select your report settings, and run the report. This will give you a detailed giving statement that you can save digitally or print.

When you give to Heights Church, God does something incredible. He multiplies your gifts and does more with it than any of us could ask or imagine. Your tithe becomes part of God’s plan to resource the local church to do His work here on earth. And He also allows you to be a part of all He is doing in our city and around the world through local and global missions partners. Know that we honor your gifts and strive to faithfully steward all of the resources that God has entrusted us with excellence, integrity, and accountability.

When you give digitally, you can switch the settings from ‘give one time’ to ‘set up recurring’ where you can choose the frequency. We encourage everyone to set up recurring giving, so you never miss an opportunity to put God first in your finances, and honor Him with your “first fruits.” See a step by step video by clicking here.

The Heights Finance Team is available to help you at any time, just send an email to accounting@theheightschurch.com and we will follow up with you directly.

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be the glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
– Ephesians 3:20-21
